Canadian Building Technologies takes your building drawings and models the house in 3D using state of the art software. Canadian Building Technologies then creates shop drawings of each wall panel, truss, rafter or other component for your review, and modification to suit your method of construction, or to add any special backing needed for point loads or built ins. Canadian Building Technologies’ wall panels are usually manufactured using SPF studs and plates and either OSB or plywood sheathing - douglas fir is easily substituted on request. Doors and window openings are custom made to fit your fenestrations or ask us for a quote on a window package.
Each wall may be up to 20 ft x 10 ft although most walls are less than 14 ft long. We commonly undercut the sill plates at door openings and can pre-drill holes for wiring or plumbing further simplifying your on site work and reducing expensive damage to structures by sub-trades.
